Graduate of Zip Code Wilmington, one of the first nonprofit, nationally-recognized coding schools in the county located in Wilmington, Delaware. This is where Eric started his coding career and soon after discovered his love for working with kids.  While teaching Intro to Software Engineering to 10th graders in Wilmington, DE, Eric realized there was a deep need for the youth to be exposed to the possibilities of career pathways in technology. There are too many communities that lack access to the resources to learn about topics such as esports, coding, and website building.
Introduced to the wonders of gaming by his grandmother, Eric first fell in love with Super Mario Bros. Eric remained an avid gamer throughout his life playing anything from fighting games, adventure, horror, fps, and rpgs. “Having a career in esports was unheard of when I was younger. Now technology has opened up hundreds of thousands of new opportunities. We just want to help provide an avenue for our local youth to get hands-on experience within the realm of esports and technology.” His passion for coding and gaming come together to help others through the program offered through KickTheDay and KTD Studios.

Being a queen amongst men in her household, gaming has been a very prominent part of “family time”. She can relate the feeling of sitting and playing with her boys to memories of all of her cousins gathering around one gameboy at her grandma’s house and going over to her closest cousin’s house to play Nintendo 64. Those memories have been precious to her and now she can make similar memories with her husband and children. Quality time is important and gaming makes these moments extra fun and extra special.
